Quicksilver 700 Weekend
NEW 2008 Quicksilver 700 is powered by a single Volkswagen TD-5 2.5L 150hp diesel engine. The 700 has a very functional self draining cockpit, with ample amount of seating area and storage, with a table that lowers and forms a double sun bed. There is very easy access to the bow from the cockpit with large walkways. The transom door is central and leads to a bathing platform with a stainless steel swim ladder, fender holders, transom shower, engine bracket, and two stainless steel rod holders. You enter the cabin through patio doors into a large open plan layout. The Quicksilver 700 boasts the five berths, with a single berth to port with a window into the cockpit, two come from the double berth in the bow with cupboard space, lighting, a hatch and plenty of storage under the bed. The other two berths come from the dinette area, with a fold down table and infill cushion. The heads compartment is very spacious for this size boat with a sink, cupboard, window, light, mirror, shelf and porta potty. The large L- Shaped dinette area to port is on the higher level, giving you plenty of vision, out of the large windscreen, and is very light and airy coming from the glass hard top roof, located directly over the table, there is also an ample amount of storage under the seats. Directly opposite on the starboard side, behind the helm seat is two burners, fridge and a hard work top surface, lift the helm seat up and there is a Stainless steel sink with cold running water. The helm is located on the Starboard side and has controls for, trim tabs, windlass anchor (which can also be controlled from the bow), windscreen wipers, horn and plenty more. There is also a footrest, fire extinguisher (under seat), battery switches (by drivers foot rest) and an opening window.
