Rival 38 AC
The Rival 38 is a solidly designed sea-going yacht. with its semi S bilged hull its draft is reasonable so it offers you the possibility to sail at high sea as well in shallow waters. This example is extensively refurbished by the present owner. He had it from 2000. Some of the improvements and equipment:
All above waterline professionally painted in 2005. Below waterline professionally epoxied 2001. New drive shaft, seals and propeller. Teak decking in cockpit replaced. Windlass rebuilt. New furling jib, Rebuilt Bamar in-mast furling system with sail re-cut and new UV leech this winter. All standing and running rigging replaced 2006. Aries windvane new 2003 and serviced by manufacturer 2006, Neco autohelm. New Tacktick wireless instruments for wind, depth, speed, Compass, NMEA interfaced to computer.
