Jeanneau Odyssey Sloop
"Zephyr" is a 2003 Jeanneau 37 Odyssey Sloop that is in "Like-New" condition, re-powered in 2006 with a new 29hp Yanmar 3YM30 with only 98 hours, loaded with updates including a 2008 Garmin 440 Color GPS/Chartplotter, 2007 North Asymmetrical Spinnaker with Sock, 2008 JBL CD/Stereo with 4 speakers, and many other upgraded options including Raytheon ST-6001 Autopilot, 16,000 BTU A/C, 12V Refrigeration, Custom Hard Dodger by Lipincott with connector panel to the Sunbrella Bimini, and a 12V Lofrans Windlass with Remote controls at the Helm.

With a 12'1" beam, carried far aft to the transom providing an incredibly spacious cockpit and aft berth and stateroom, and a 4'9" Draft, ideal for the shallow waters of SW FL, the Keys and Bahamas, it's easy to see why the Jeanneau 37 was named Boat of the Year and Top 10 awards when this model was first introduced in 2000. If you are looking for outstanding sailing performance, exceptional interior layout and superb fit and finish, this go-anywhere yacht is exceptionally maintained, equipped for extended cruising, and priced to sell. Very few of these models have become available on the used market in the US because of outstanding owner satisfaction; so if you are interested, don't delay because "Zephyr" won't be available for long.

Hull, Deck & Rigging
The Jeanneau 37 Odyssey is one of the largest sailboats in its class as a result of the wide beam carried far aft; providing a huge cockpit with large folding table for entertaining under the Bimini and hardtop Lippincott Dodger with connecting panel. The sugar-scoop transom with folding swim ladder, and transom door makes boarding a pleasure from a dinghy and the transom shower is convenient when re-boarding after a refreshing swim. Access to the foredeck is easy because of the wide side decks and Dodger with integrated side grab rails. With Roller Furling Headsail and all lines led aft to the cockpit; "Zephyr" is ideally rigged and her deck layed out for a couple to easily handle. The moderately-sized rig easily drives this efficient shoal draft hull and the low bridge clearance enables passage under all Intercoastal Fixed Bridges.

The hull is solid hand-laid fiberglass with a hand-built structural grid. All stress areas in the hull are reinforced with Kevlar for superior strength.
