The Albin Ballad is a fast, seaworthy cruiser-racer from the 1970s, a time when competitive racing boats actually made effective cruisers. The Ballad was designed by Rolf Magnusson, as a production version of his earlier very successful 'Joker' racing design.
About 1,500 Ballads were built, and many have made long offshore passages, including at least one circumnavigation
