Dufour 34
The Dufour 34 meets all criteria that has made the Dufour 40 a worldwide success: speed on all points of sailing, stability and manoeuvrability, good-looking and useful design, a practical interior layout. With the Dufour 34, Dufour has created a new benchmark among 34-foot fast cruisers.

Sailing a Dufour 34 is sheer pleasure: You can either share it with a crew, or enjoy sailing her single handed, as she is very easy to handle.

Since the Dufour 34 takes up most of the tried and tested ideas from her big sister, as from the start the press was unanimous on the subject. The Dufour 34 is:

Fast and elegant...
A 34-footer with ambition...
A new "Designer label" is created
A very beautiful hull
Plenty of light

When we launched the Dufour 34 she immediately acquired the title of European Sailing Yacht of the Year and she has become famous in the racing scene, especially through the victory of the Spanish Copa Del Rey in 2004.

Reviews & testimonial
YACHTING MONTHLY, UK

"The second of Dufour's new generation yachts is a sparkling performer, says James Jermain.... Dufour has set out to produce a performance yacht for enthusiastic yachtsmen forced to cruise with restraint. In this, the Dufour 34, the company has been surprisingly successful. She is delightful to handle, quick and responsive and her speed can be generated without a big, athletic crew or constant attention to tuning and steering. Below decks, too, the owner who has experience of offshore conditions will be reassured by the layout...."

SAILING TODAY, UK
"A fast boat that will impress the racing fraternity with outstanding performance. She also fits the short-handed cruising bill to a tee, being very easy to handle and comfortable - both in her accommodation and her motion at sea. One for the "cruiser" who can't quite resist competing against everyone in sight. "
