CONSTRUCTION: Built in 1970. Marine ply construction, GRP sheathed with triple keels (new keel bolts), aft cockpit and tiller steering. Bermudan cutter rig and 5 berth internal layout in a single cabin with a maximum headroom of around 6’2”.

SAILS & RIG: Slab reefing mainsail (Wilkinson, 2007) with mainsail cover. Genoa roller reefing system with furling No 1 Genoa. No 2 Genoa, No 1 Jib, No 2 Jib, No 3 Jib and storm Jib. Spinnaker. Alloy mast and spars with stainless steel 7mm standing rigging (new 2008). All lines led aft to cockpit.
ENGINE: Lister 2 cylinder 15HP inboard diesel engine (1970) with raw water cooling. 40 gallon fuel capacity in 2 tanks with a consumption per hour of around ½ a gallon at a cruising speed of about 5 knots. Shaft drive to 2 blade fixed propeller. Alternator charging to 3 x 12 volt batteries (all new 2006). Owner has informed us that engine was rebuilt in 2006.

NAVIGATION EQUIPMENT: Compass, new NASA echo sounder, wind direction at masthead, Raymarine autopilot (new 2007), Salormat Windvane self steering gear, GPS, radar reflector, clock and barometer, navigation light, steaming light, tri colour masthead light and anchor light.
DOMESTIC EQUIPMENT: She has a Taylor’s diesel heater. 240 volt ringmain. Her galley has a gas cooker with 2 burners, oven and grill, refrigerator, various pots, pans, cutlery and crockery, water supply to the sink is from a 30 gallon flexible water tank. Her separate heads compartment has a marine toilet and wash basin. Grey upholstery with curtains.
ACCOMMODATION: There are 5 berths in 2 cabins including 2 “V” berths in the forward cabin and 3 berths in the saloon.
REMARKS: “Ceilidhe II” has had 3 owners from new and has been very lightly used over the years. The owner has spent the last 2 years getting the boat ready for a circumnavigation including new keel bolts, new boom, new stainless steel 7mm standing rigging and nickel chrome bottle screws, she has been equipped with a Salormat windvane self steering and her engine has been rebuilt with new batteries fitted in 2006. A change of plans through health reasons have forced a reluctant sale.
