The yacht has been extremely well maintained throughout her life with regular improvements. Her stereo and TV system are currently top of the range. The furniture and carpets have been custom made and are in keeping with the interior of the boat.
A custom made table and large cushions have been created for the sun deck in order to maximize sunbathing potential. Atlas shore power has been installed to handle both American and European shore power. The fire extinguishers and life raft are yearly certified. There are 12 new life vests situated on the fly bridge and each person is provided with a life vest in their cabin.
The engine room has recently been painted and looks in excellent condition. There is a new air conditioning pump, new fire and bilge pump, new fridge circulation pump, new vacuum pump for the toilet system and new gray water pump. The isolation on the exhaust for the main engines has been renewed. The Gyro compass has recently been serviced by a technician from Larry Smith.
In 2007, Midnight Saga II underwent a major engine room refit. Cosmetic work was done to improve the exterior. Other work includes:

Painting and detailing of entire enginge room and diamond plate;

OWNERS LIVING ROOM is very well organized with high quality furniture, leather comfort chair, 7 seat sofa with glass table, mini bar, working desk, remote control for TV and stereo equipment, Samsung 28" plasma TV and LINN high quality DVD/stereo.
GUESTS have 2 spacious double bed cabins with en-suite bathrooms, separate showers and single Pullman. Both cabins have 15" Samsung Syncmaster plasma TV and LINN combined DVD/stereo equiment.
CREW have 2 comfortable cabins with two bunk beds each, combined bathroom and shower, stove, refrigerator, color TV and DVD player.
On the AFT DECK is a teak table with 4 teak chairs (made by Henry Hall) for good weather comfort.
The DINING ROOM is forward. There is a dining table with 9 seat sofa and 2 leather chairs, Cristofle silverware, Wedgewood china and Waterford crystal.
On the SUN DECK there is a double Gaggenau grill, sink, refrigerator, dishware cabinets, custom made table with eight seat cushions around it. The table and cushions can be converted into a king size bed.
On the FLY BRIDGE there is an 8 seat cushion for sight seeing and sunbathing.
The INTERIOR is well built in pear wood by Struik & Hamerslag (the Feadship interior sub-contractors) in a classic Dutch style. Attention is given to the sound and vibration insulation. The yacht is fully carpeted and the wheelhouse and passages have teak flooring.
The GALLEY has custom made commercial fridge and icemaker, Gaggenau extractor fan, Miele dishwasher, Miele barbecue/grill on bridge deck, ISE trash compactor, Miele washing machine, Miele hydromatic dryer.
DECK EQUIPMENT includes 2 steen stainless steel anchor winches, 2 x 125kg galvanised HHG type anchors, 2 x 120m 12mm galvanised anchor chains, 2 cram hydraulic crane 55kg capacity, 350 watt searchlight with controller on fly bridge and helm controller plus 2 x 200 W Sanshin searchlights with remote controls. |
