WESTERLY GK 24 Designed by Laurent Giles and Chris Hawkins on behalf of Westerly Marine Construction of Portsmouth, the GK24 is a fast flush-decked production cruiser/ racer developed from a successful Quarter-Ton Cup racing yacht. Performance is the prime design consideration and she is a boat which will appeal to those who appreciate exciting and exhilarating sailing. Although headroom is limited, the wide beam gives useful overnight accommodation for her size. In many respects she is a grown-up dinghy, and it is to dinghy sailors moving up to a boat ‘with a lid’ that she has proved most popular over the years since her launch in 1974.
