Accommodations When boarding the 'Aurelia J' from her port or starboard sides, one will notice her teak toerails outlining her wide walkarounds all the way forward to the bow pulpit and open bow area. Heading aft, up a couple of stairs, one will enter her full-width aft deck, large enough to serve as a primairy entertaining area. A couple of centerlined steps up, the open upper helm area provides plenty of cushioned seating port and starboard for guests and travelers alike. Heading downstairs into the salon from the aft deck area, not only is the salon flooded with plenty of natural light, but an all-teak interior presents a very classic and clean living area. The lower helm is located to starboard with a sliding deck door providing ease of access to the exterior of the vessel. Heading forward of the salon, the lower, fully equipped galley is perfect for creating meals while at port or heading underway. The forward head compartment is located to starboard ,of the lower galley, with a hand-held shower. Forward of the galley is the VIP stateroom with its twin double bunks and teak continuing the classic woodwork theme noticed throughout the entire living areas located within the 'Aurelia J'. Heading aft into the master stateroom, the centered queen berth is completely surrounded by teak drawers, shelves, and cabinetry. The master head is to port with a stand up, stall style shower. Engine Area/ Mechanical 'Aurelia J' has had her oil changed at 200 hour intervals and has had transmission oil analyses at 400 hour intervals since 2003. With her naturally asperated engines, fuel consumption is at a minimum, burning 2.6 gph at an 8 knot cruise, while burning 9 gph at a max speed of around 10 knots. Twin 135 hp Lehman diesels. Borg Warner 2:1 transmission. New stainless steel shafts, cutless bearings, and stuffing boxes ('06). New spurs(2) ('06).
