CONSTRUCTIONBuilt in 1980. GRP construction with white topsides (professionally re-sprayed in Awlgrip in 2011), white superstructure, aft cockpit with tiller steering, Bermudan sloop rig and 7 berth internal layout in 2 cabins.

SAILS & RIG:Slab reefing mainsail with mainsail cover in blue. Colnebrooke genoa roller reefing system with furling genoa. Coaster and storm jib. Alloy mast and boom, stainless steeling standing rigging (new 2000).
ENGINE:Volvo MD10 10hp diesel inboard engine (installed new in 1994). Freshwater heat exchanger. Alternator charging to 2 x 12v batteries (batteries to be replaced with new). 10 gallon stainless steel fuel tank. Saildrive to 2 blade fixed propeller.

ACCOMMODATION:7 berths in 2 cabins including a double V berth in the forward cabin. 2 single berths in the saloon and a quarter berth aft. Plus 2 removable pilot berths (pipe cots).
FEATURES:Re-sprayed 2011 by Tollesbury Marina.
REMARKS:“Whisper” was taken in by Tollesbury Marina in lieu of a debt in May 2011. Her last owner signed a Bill of Sale to transfer ownership to Tollesbury Marina after the boat had been neglected (ashore) for several years. We have since re-sprayed her in Awlgrip and carried out necessary shipwright repairs to her cabin. She is fully equipped, we have serviced her engine and will provide 2 new batteries. However there is still some work to be done, she needs a new gas cooker and gas system and her interior needs some refurbishment.
