Fountaine Pajot Cumberland 46
Trawler type
Built by world-renowned cruise catamaran constructors, Fountaine Pajot, and hall-marked by designers O. Flahault Design and Joubert/Nivelt, the CUMBERLAND 46 offers not only exceptional range and sea-worthiness, but also incomparable space (3 decks totaling 120m2…) and comfort.
Whatever your plans : long haul navigation, swimming outings, cruises with family or friends... rest assured that your journeys will be filled with magical moments. Enjoy cocktails or sunbathing on the fly. Have a warm meal in the wardroom or take a nap in your spacious private cabin with a picture window offering panoramic views.
Welcome onboard this superb catamaran…
A spacious and sunny wardroom with magnificent cabinetwork
"A characteristic white body whose powerful hulls are fitted with exceptionally large picture windows, a more than spacious upper deck from where the helmsman’s eye is more than 4 metres above water level that offers a sweeping 360° view; all at 18 knots". As spoken by designer, Olivier Flahault, to describe his third Trawler
Catamaran and to which we simply add: "and without any disruption to the sunbathing or conversations on the fly".
Propeller protection:
The fitted skegs protect the propellers and the rudder blades, thus completely ensuring the trawler's water tightness and safety during impact at sea or running aground.
Seclusion of engine zones:
The engine rooms may easily accommodate a generator and additional equipment may be easily accessed from the outside.
Standard direct line engine type with a tow press display grid
Overall security:
All functions (engines, tanks, gas/oil/electrical circuits) are lined.
Bows with spray rails:
Designers, Joubert/Nivelt, have created a very intricate stem, with a deflector and spray rails, that eliminates spray and decreases the stem wave on the sides.
Important freeboards:
Thanks to the dual hulls, the Cumberland 46 offers exceptional stability, allowing Joubert/Nivelt to increase the hull freeboard.
The Cumberland 46 is a real high seas boat.
