Description

Fountaine Pajot Salina 48 Evolution
SALINA 48, a superb, innovative catamaran

This superb Berret Racoupeau design boasts a number of revolutions in terms of shape and onboard living:
The salon and cockpit are on the same level for ease of movement, with a single entrance and no steps. The whole area is wide open, doubling the living space.
The raised steering station can seat three people. Linked to the cockpit, access is direct, protecting the helmsman but not isolating him from the rest of the crew.
The positioning of the instrument console at the steering station avoids the need to move around.
An extremely pleasant and comfortable sundeck lies behind the cockpit, for use while moored or when sailing.

Performance:
The boats length (48ft/14.30m) means it is streamlined with a very low centre of gravity for comfort and safety at sea. The 136m² sail plan prevents pitching in rough seas.
The SALINA 48 is naturally available in two models:
Quatuor: four cabins and bathrooms with up to 12 berths (not including the salon).
A New Maestro Version: a private suite with lavatory in the starboard hull, sufficient laundry capacity for ocean-going journeys, and two fully-equipped cabins in the portside hull for two guest couples.

The SALINA 48 benefits from a new Owner hull, with a true private suite for the greatest of comfort on board. The entirely private hull is doted with a fine cabin and with an island bed, a bureau, a library and has a new private bathroom.

This bathroom redesigned to offer more intimacy has a shower separated by a Plexiglas panel, a superb free standing wash basin, and a wall unit with mirrors on both doors.
In the portside hull there are two full cabins for two guest couples.
