In nearly new condition this is a beautiful, comfortable and spacious yacht that is easily sailed single handed or with a crew. Unfortunately we are moving to central Europe and it is not practical to leave a yacht in the UK - so she must be sold. Now 18 months old we have sailed enough miles to iron out any "new build" issues and have found her to be a wonderful yacht. This is a rare opportunity to buy a nearly new yacht without any of the new yacht concerns. And yes - everything onboard is included - she is literally ready to sail away - including the berth in Brighton until October 2008.

This is the limited edition with a number of extras including upgraded engine, electric fridge, holding tank, removable inner forestay, large colour chart plotter, removable pole / bow sprit for asymmetric spinnaker, pole and fittings for symmetric spinnaker and electric windlass making anchor use a breeze.

This roomy and comfortable two cabin 6 berth version has huge heads for a 38 foot yacht (includes shower with glass door) and an enormous port locker for storage of sails, tender and bulkier items.

Details:
This yacht has a cast iron fin keel and twin wheel steering. Hand laminated GRP hull. Hull port-lights in saloon. Opening port lights in both cabins. Roller blinds for all 5 deck hatches. White upholstery in saloon, blue and white stripes in cabins. Generous headroom throughout (6ft 2 minimum), moabi mahogany joinery and plenty of storage. Straight galley with double stainless steel sink, gimballed 2 burner gas cooker and oven, 120L 12V electric fridge, large chart table/nav station with chart plotter, DSC VHF radio, DVD MP3 player, instruments and electrical switch panels. Water heating via both engine and mains. Large heads with holding tank, separate shower stall with closing glass door and electric evacuation pump. Access to a large wet locker in the cockpit locker with PVC boxes and racks.

Deck equipment
1000W Electric windlass, Lazy bag and lazy jacks, folding cockpit table with fixed stainless steel grab rail, leather covered wheels, rigid boom vang, deck level navigation lights, tricolour at mast head and white light 3/4 of the way up the mast, manual and electric bilge pumps, teak handrails on coach roof, two self tailing winches on coachroof plus two self tailing winches at the sides of the cockpit. Horseshoe life buoy plus self inflating automatic danbuoy on stern.

Cockpit has teak trimmed seats, GRP sole. 2 large side lockers with lids fitted with padlock hasps. Rear lockers for gas bottle, shore power and access into stern cavity. Engine lever and control panel at hand of the helmsman on portside. Transom opens in the centre by tipping helmsman's seat giving access to the swim/boarding platform. Gas cylinder locker in aft port seat. Life raft stowage in dedicated locker under helmsman seat. Cockpit shower beside bathing platform. Rigging and sails
Anodised aluminium mast with double swept backed spreaders, rigged 15/16, deck stepped. Anodised aluminium boom equipped with 2 single line reefing systems. Genoa furler. Grounded rigging system. Continuous standing rigging in single strand stainless steel cable and chrome plated bronze turnbuckles including: forestay, removeable inner forestay, double backstay, cap shrouds, inter and lower shrouds. Running rigging in pre-stretched textile including : Main and Genoa halyards, boom topping lift, Main and Genoa sheets,
2 reef lines, outhaul line, Mainsheet car control line, furling line, boom vang tackle, main, spinnaker, jib and genoa halyards. Mainsail equipped with 2 broad reef bands, with battens and bag. Special furling Genoa in Cross cut with anti-UV protection. Symmetric spinnaker with pole, mast track and running gear.
