Description
Hunton Powerboats Maverick 34
This boat has been fully refitted several times in its life. It is in very good condition overall, with many brand new parts including the engines and outdrives. The current Owner is a marine Engineer who looks after it fastidiously.
There is just enough accommodation for long weekend cruising for a family of four, and with the all over camper cover enough shelter for when the rain inevitably comes.
If you want to go somewhere fast, with a degree of economy, in comfort and in dateless style this is the boat for you!
Additional Information
This boat was the original Hunton demonstrator, called Jessic 11, with a red hull, with Mercruiser 454 Magnum engines of 340HP each. The boat was re-fitted in 2005 with new Mercruiser 496HO engines of 420HP each. The current owner took out the engines to service them, when one was stolen from his factory so he bought a new pair of Mercruiser 377 Magnums in late April 2011.
Between December 2004 and May 2005 this boat was completely refitted, (with all bills to prove).
The refit consisted of the following items:
Hull fully sanded back and re-gelled in white from chine to rubrail.
New teak decks to cockpit, engine cover, transom platform and cabin.
Engine room: re-gelled in red, new batteries, battery switches, battery boxes, blowers, bilge pumps, vents, electric hatch strut, stainless mirrored hatch.
Wiring: complete re-wire of the boat, including all systems and instruments
Fridge, cooker, water system, calorifier, lights
Upholstery: cabin, cockpit bolsters.
VHF, aerial, Alpine CD changer /radio, 4 X speakers.
240 volt wiring, breakers, switches.
New logos, vinyl stripes etc.
Delta anchor, windlass, chain, air horn.
Fuel system: valves, pipework, Wema fuel senders
Instruments: Mercury Smartcraft, tachos and speedo, Mercury race throttles and shifts
External stainless steel tie bar
New trim tab pumps and hoses
Engine trim switches and carbon steering wheel
Carbon dashboards, breakers, carling switches
Garmin Plotter.
Blue cockpit lighting
Jabsco manual toilet
Navy blue Sunbrella tonneau cover.
Cabin Portholes.
There are bills totalling over £80,000 for this refit.
June 2006: Camper canvas, dashboard cover, gas pipework.
June 2006: Sleipner bow thruster.
In April/ May 2011: New pair of Mercruiser 377 Magnum MPI engines with; transom plates, trim pumps, Bravo 1 outdrives and Mercury Revolution Four 21” Stainless Propellers were fitted, complete with 2 years warranty.
April 2011: Cockpit rear 3 piece seat cushion.
In May 2011: Flat screen TV/ DVD, cabin lights and switches, fire extinguisher, toilet headlining.
NOTES:
The engines are currently running the exhausts underwater, there is a “silent choice” exhaust diverter kit included to be able to switch to through transom “noisy” exhausts. The engines will have had their first service, an oil and filter change at 10 hours.
Economy
The New Mercruiser 2011 377 Magnum Multi Port Injection engines feature lean burn technology for easy starting and even greater economy Total consumption: i.e. both engines combined (According to Mercury Smartcraft instruments):
