J Boats J 133
The J 133 is a modern designed racer/cruiser and winner of the Sailing World Magazine overall Boat of the year. It is a yacht with the stability for short-handed cruising, racing to win under IRC, durability for rough offshore passages, sailing over 10 knots with the A-symetrical genaker fitted to the retractable carbon bowsprit. Hull and deck construction
The laminate is constructed with the patented SCRIMP process. The entire laminate is dry placed in a mold. A high vacuum eliminates any air voids. Then the resin feed tubes draw in only enough resin to wet the laminate complete. It results into a very dense and strong/stiff laminate without chanses of air-locks which can cause osmotic blisters or delamination.
Hull and deck are built in sandwich with Baltek super light 45 end-grain balsa core, Vinylester resins, Biaxial,Tiaxial and quadraxial E-glass making sure to built the best and stiffest hull by the lowest weight possible. (10 years transferrable warranty against osmotic blisters)
