MOONRAKER 36 The Moonraker 36 hull is a development from a Robert Tucker design, and has been in production since 1970 having been originally built by Buxton Marine Services of Brundall, trading as Moonraker Marine. The company later went into recession and were brought-out by Aqua Bell who brought the mould and added the Cabin from the Aqua Bell 33. Renowned for its seaworthiness, strength and longevity, the Moonraker 36 is a popular choice for both a Workboat and Sports Fisherman, appealing to Anglers, Divers and commercial fisherman.

'MOONRAKER'
ENGINE: Moonraker is powered by twin Yamaha 370ME, 4-cylinder, turbo diesels rated at 130hp each. They are installed just forward of the transom and are coupled directly to Yamaha Hydra-Drive Outdrives on the Transom. The engines are heat-exchanger cooled and have resilient forward mountings. Twin Stainless Fuel Tanks are fitted to Port and Starboard beneath the Cockpit.
ACCOMMODATION: The accommodation consists of two single V-shaped berths in the forecabin, which could be adjusted to create a Double, and a 6ft single berth in the Wheelhouse. Portable Toilet.
COCKPIT: The open Cockpit extends from the Aft Bulkhead of the Wheelhouse to the Transom. The main section of the Deck is raised and fitted with a centre access hatch. There is a full width box over the Engines across the Stern with hatch access, and can be used to provide seating when at rest. Two large scuppers are cut in each Topside to provide drainage for the Cockpit.
DOMESTIC EQUIPMENT: The Galley area is equipped with a two-ring Gas Cooker with Grill, and a Sink.
ELECTRONICS: Hummingbird Depth Finder. Leica Navigator. Fixed XM DSC Marine Radio. Three 12-Volt Batteries supply the 12-Volt DC circuit and are stowed beneath the Aft end of the Cockpit. Navigation Lights consisting of Port, Starboard and emergency Tri-Colour.
DECK EQUIPMENT: Stainless Steel Bow Rail, forward Stancions and Guardrail Wires. Alloy Mooring Cleats and Fairleads. An Alloy signal Mast is fitted through the Wheelhouse roof and stands on the Cockpit floor. Bilge Pumps. Fire Extinguishers. 5kg Bruce Anchor with 8” Chain and Anchor Warp. Mooring Warps. Simpson Lawrence Electric Windlass (not fitted). Simpson Lawrence Electric Winches (not fitted). Avon 4-Man Liferaft. Vimar 245 Tender.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Moonraker has undergone a comprehensive refit, which has included the replacement of the engines and drive systems, new cockpit sole, new electrics and complete repainting. The vessel is now of good appearance throughout. A full Surveyors Report from July 2003 is available to view upon request.
