Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 40.3
An absolutely pristine fast RCD Class A offshore cruiser with the Jeanneau pedigree, constructed with isophthalic resins to combat osmosis.

Jeanneau have beautifully finished interiors, using light woods and head-linings, giving a very light and airy interior.

She was supplied brand new in 2006 by a British Dealer and commissioned in the South of France by Yacht Services of Port Napoleon. She spent the 2006 season based from Port Camargue, and then was sailed by the owners to Spain, spending the first part of the 2007 season based in a marina on the outskirts of Barcelona, and latterly in Empuriabrava in a permanent berth which may be made available, subject to separate negotiation, should the new owners require it.

“Freya of Salcombe” is Part One UK registered and wholly in private ownership. She has never been chartered or raced and is an absolute joy to sail, being equipped with in-mast furling, making her extremely manageable by short-handed crew.

She has been fastidiously maintained since she was commissioned in February 2006 – she is for sale due to health-issues with her owners, a long-time experienced cruising couple. She has had only light family use and has never been chartered.

During Spring 2007 all major mechanical and electrical items have been inspected and serviced ready for the season:
• The rig was inspected by a rigging company in February 2007 with no recommendations for any remedial work needed.
• The hull was pressure cleaned in May 2007, during which time the topsides and coachroof were professionally polished.
• The engine had a full service by the local Yanmar specialist in May 2007 with new impellor, gaskets, filters, oil and coolant change at 31 hours run.
• Jabsco marine toilet serviced May 2007
• Propellor hub, shaft and keel anodes replaced May 2007

"Freya" is booked to be taken from the water in February for hull polish, antifouling, anodes and a full engine service, ready for the 2008 season

Perfect for Mediterranean life, "Freya" has 12 opening portholes & hatches, each equipped with mosquito nets and will be complete with a full set of fitted duvets, matteress covers and bedding with under-bunk "Air-Mesh" mattress ventilation mats; Cockpit spray-hood, bimini & cushions.
