CONSTRUCTIONBuilt in the late 1970’s, GRP construction with white hull and topsides, fin keel, Bermudan sloop rig, self draining aft cockpit with tiller steering and 6 berth internal layout with standing headroom of around 5’10”.

SAILS & RIG:Slab reefing mainsail with mainsail cover (cover new 2009). Genoa roller reefing system with furling No 1 Genoa. Spinnaker. All lines led aft to cockpit. Alloy mast and spars and stainless steel standing rigging. Standing rigging was renewed in 2006.
ENGINE:Nanni 10HP inboard diesel engine with heat exchanger (fitted new in 2006). 27 litre fuel tank with a consumption per hour of around one litre at a cruising speed of about 6 knots. Shaft drive to 3 blade 14” propeller (new 2010). Alternator charging to 2 x 110 amp/hr 12 volt batteries.

DECK GEAR:Stainless steel pushpit, pulpit and guardwires, sprayhood, spraydodgers (2010), cockpit canopy, boarding ladder, tiller, spinnaker pole, sheet winches, 7’1” Phoenix inflatable dinghy with Suzuki DF2.5LS 4 stroke outboard motor (outboard bracket on pushpit), Danforth main anchor with 20m chain, 2 boat hooks and 8 fenders.
SAFETY GEAR:Jackstay lifelines on side decks, lifebuoy, 2 lifejackets, safety harnesses, distress flares, manual fire extinguisher, manual bilge pump, electric bilge pump, fire blanket.
NAVIGATION EQUIPMENT:Contest 100 compass, Plastimo compass, NASA Clipper Duet echo sounder and log, Windex at masthead, ICOM M411DSC VHF radio, FM/AM radio, Autohelm autopilot, radar reflector on mast, clock and barometer, motor sailing cone and anchor ball, navigation light, steaming light and anchor light. Also Folio Charts of Essex and Blue Cart Mapping Software.
DOMESTIC EQUIPMENT:She has a Propex HS2000 hot air heating system and 240 volt ringmain with 3 cable extensions. Her galley has a gas cooker with 2 burners, oven and grill, various pots, pans, cutlery and crockery, water supply to the sink is from an approx 30 litre fixed water tank. She has a pressurised water system and her new engine has freshwater heat exchanger and is upgradable to supply the boat with hot water at a later date. Separate heads compartment has a marine toilet. New blue upholstery with new curtains and brown carpets.
ACCOMMODATION:She has 6 berths including 2 “V” berths converting to a double in the forepeak, 2 single quarter berths and her table arrangement lowers to form a double berth in the saloon.
REMARKS:The boat has had much recent work including a new engine, new propeller and flexible stern gland, new pressured water pump, new mains extension cables, new stainless steel diesel tank, recent sprayhood and sail cover and new spray dodgers. Her dinghy outboard is only 18 months old and her batteries, fuse board and switches are all new. Overall a very clean boat, last survey was in 2010. Her standing rigging was changed in 2006.
