Classic Day boat Curtiss and Pape
Harkaway is a fin keel Bermudian sloop. Designed by Alan Pape in 1943 and built in 1946 by Curtiss and Pape of Looe, Cornwall. Carvel built, Larch on oak with mahogany coamings and moulded cast iron keel. With a "new" mast in 1987 and new sails in 1993 she has been well maintained and is in good condition, as confirmed by a recent survey.
