Custom Composite Crafts 42 Wave Piercer
NOW OFFERED FOR SALE, the wave-piercing Trimaran with unrivalled sea keeping for a vessel of this size, the 12m trimaran is built to be used as a seriously capable pleasure boat that will maintain its speed in conditions that would keep most other boats at home.
Power comes from twin Yanmar 370Hp diesel turbo inboards, running through custom designed and built surface drives. Top speed is in the order of 40 knots (74kph or 45mph). A seawater ballast tank is fitted in the stem to provide extra inertia to punch the bow into waves in a head sea or to reduce displacement and fly the bow in a following sea.
