Description
The Nicholson 32 is a classic long keel cruising yacht, with good headroom throughout, which is still just as sought after now as it was when it was new. This boat was showed at the 1963 London Boat Show boat and commissioned in March 1964. This desirable yacht is in good condition for her age. She should be strongly considered by all serious offshore sailors. This yacht has been owned by the current owner for the past 10 years and is being reluctantly sold. Accommodation consists of 5 berths in two cabins, separate galley and navigation area, saloon with fixed drop leaf table and Eberspacher diesel cabin heating. This yacht has been on the British Ships Register Part 1 since March 1964 registration has been maintained An early viewing is recommended.

Accommodation
The accommodation offers 5 berths in two cabins with 6’3’’ of headroom. V berth forward with stowage under. Opening hatch to foredeck. Separate heads to port with Lavac marine toilet and single washbasin to starboard. In saloon, two settee berths, with blue upholstery and curtains, with addition pilot berth to port. Fixed table with drop leaves. Chart table to starboard and galley opposite. Plastimo Neptune two burner gimballed gas cooker with grill and oven. Coolbox, Stainless steel sink with manual cold water supply. Crockery & cutlery included. Eberspacher diesel cabin heating.

This Nicholson 32 was built in 1963 by Halmatic Construction to a design by Peter Nicholson. Cream painted GRP hull. Cream/blue superstructure and deck. Moulded and painted non-slip decks. Aft self-draining cockpit. Encapsulated long keel with keel hung rudder. New rudder 2004, tiller steering, teak cockpit seats and cockpit grating
Hull was epoxied below the waterline in 1997 as a preventative measure. This boat has been stored ashore every winter.

Machinery
Located behind the companionway steps, Bukh DV24ME, new 1997, twin cylinder 24hp diesel engine, with approximately 330 hours. Electric start. Seawater cooled. Shaft drive to a fixed three bladed propeller with rope cutter. Single lever control. 70 litre stainless steel fuel tank. Engine last serviced 2010.
