Engine – Bukh model DV10 10hp Diesel, shaft drive, steering – tiller, cruising speed approx 5 knots, top speed approx. 6 knots +. Engine serviced annually throughout this ownership.
Spars and Rigging – mast anodised alloy, main roller and genoa roller. Standing Rigging (S.S). New U.V strip to Genoa (04). Sails in good order, and serviceable. Numerous replacements /upgrades to standing rigging within current ownership.
Equipment – VHF Radio – Swiftech, Autopilot – Navico TP 1800. Navico DL200 and DS200, Compass Plastimo Bulkhead, Clock/Barometer above Nav. Position.
New Batteries (05). Manual. Rule manual and electrical bilge pumps.
Deck Equipment – Port & starboard coaming winches, winch to mast, horseshoe lifebuoy and light, CQR and chain, Fisherman kedge and anchor & warp.
Fuel and Water tanks - 8 gal galvanised steel fuel tank, 12 gal water tank GRP.
Accomodation - 4 Berths in 2 cabins, forepeak: 6’ + double berth, lockers and spotlighting, shore power, lighting choices (economy), radio/cassette player, 6’ standing room in saloon. Navigation area forward facing incorporating folding table, radio, barometer & electrical panel to hand.
Galley and Equipment – Cooker with 2 rings and grill, sink with cold water supply and various utensils.
Cockpit Roomy with high coamings. Two lockers beneath seating, Large access panel to engine, depth and log display, tiller pilot Dodgers & sail covers, substantial cleats.
Inflatable tender and outboard motor available as part of inventory if required.
Additional Information
The Macwester Rowan Crown is a spacious, sea –kindly sailing cruiser with a heavy lay-up and displacement. It affords the stability of a long keel with the advantages of relatively shallow draft and bilge plate convenience.
The accommodation and layout is favourably comparable to many boats of 24’ and sometimes beyond.
