Prout 38
The Prout 38 is a well-designed catamaran, ideal for family and long distrance cruising. The accommodation of this example is the "owners", aft head layout, which provides a king-size owner´s suite plus two more double cabins. There are two heads compartments, a spacious saloon and fully equipped galley. The acommodation space is equalled by the large cockpit and deck space and rather than a forward trampoline there is a molded foredeck. She is powered by twin 20hp Volvo diesel engines and has a in-mast furling main, roller furling genoa and a cruising shute. This example has many extras such as sprayhood, bimini cover and cockpit cushions. In fact, she is exceedingly well equipped throughout, including all navigational aids and items such as davits, dinghy tender with outboard and a water-maker. She is in very good condition and overall an excellent cruising catamaran.
