Founded in 1945 by boat builder, Janez Klenovsek, Elan Yachts is a Slovenian sailboat manufacturer based in Begunje. It has become renowned for its production of high-quality and competitively-priced performance yachts and motorboats.
The company initially specialised in Olympic-class sailing yachts, winning various world and European championships and producing the first molded composite sailing yacht in the world. Later, Elan continued to be at the forefront of innovation, launching the first-ever convertible deck saloon in 2006 and the first integral, one-piece bathing platform in 2011. Elan Yachts now offers a comprehensive range of sailboats and motorboats to suit all sailing styles and budgets.
Elan’s presence in the marine industry has also been widespread, with boats ranging from 22 to 51 feet in length and selling in over 30 countries worldwide, including the UK, USA, South Africa and Australia.
